Le bateau du Val Mosan et son capitaine vous embarquent pour un tour matinal sur la Meuse en musique.

Aigua (eau en valencien) est le mot qui décrit le mieux le duo de Lies Hendrix à l’accordéon diatonique et Joan Peiró Aznar à la guitare et au chant. L’eau coule et ondule, stagne et jaillit, bouillonne et serpente d’un pays à l’autre. Leur dernier album, Noninó, est un hommage au pays valencien où Joan a grandi et qui a aussi accueilli Lies. Le flamenco et le manouche de Joan se mêlent à la musique folklorique de Lies et, ensemble, ils colorent les danses et les traditions musicales de ce lieu. Les habaneras, jotas, mazurkas et berceuses ondulent entre harmonie moderne et savoir-faire de la musique traditionnelle, le tout imprégné d’improvisations et de glosa, poésie chantée.

The Val Mosan boat and its captain will take you on a musical morning boat cruise on the Meuse.
Aigua (water in Valencian) is the word that best describes the duo that is Lies Hendrix playing the diatonic accordion and Joan Peiró Aznar playing the guitar and singing. The water flows and ripples, stagnates and gushes, bubbles and meanders from one country to another. Their latest album, “Noninó”, is a tribute to the Valencian land where Joan grew up and that also welcomed Lies. Joan’s flamenco and manouche mixes with Lies’ folk music, and together, they colour the dances and the musical traditions of that place. The habaneras, jotas, mazurkas and lullabies undulate between modern harmony and the savoir-faire of traditional music, the whole thing filled with improvisation and words, sung poetry.
